On Lake Garda the wind never drops but due to the cold temperatures in winter, it is advisable to be on the water from April to October. In this period, most of the kitesurfing schools are open.

If you have already taken a kitesurfing course in the past and you already have some basics, you can start from the last level you have reached, so that you can continue to progress from the first hour of the course. If you need it, we can even do a quick recap before starting the lesson!

Yes, no problem. If you are coming alone and you want to be part of a group, we will arrange to place you in a group of a similar level and choice of kitesurfing course.

Even if at first glance it seems like a sport requiring strength, it is not! Kitesurfing is technique and practice: the kite pulls us with the force of the wind through a harness connected to our body so all that is needed is to manage and guide it correctly. The simple fact that there are also kite courses for children confirms that there is no need for any kind of physical effort.

Often the best wind starts in the morning, which is why our lessons start at 7.30. If you do not live near our school, we recommend staying at our Univela facility, where you can find both a room in a hostel or hotel rooms. The advantage is that you will be on the same premises as the kitesurf school where friends or family can also relax or choose other activities while waiting for you to finish the course.

Of course, the kitesurfing course can be divided into lessons scheduled on days that are not necessarily consecutive, depending on the availability of the kitesurfing school and your personal commitments. We recommend not letting too much time pass between one lesson and another, so as not to lose the practical skills and above all the theory.

Like all sports, kitesurfing can be safe or dangerous. When taught in the right kitesurfing school, which gives ample time to the subject of safety and follows you in the water until you are autonomous, kiting is the safest sport in the world! You must always use common sense, trust your instincts and ask the right people for advice, such as instructors or kiters who possess decades of experience.

In the Campione area and, in particular in our premises, it is possible to take Windsurfing, SUP and Sailing courses for both children and adults. In addition, the area offers numerous possibilities for practicing activities such as diving, hiking / trekking (through numerous trails that start from Campione), mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding and many other activities. Furthermore, Univela has a Technogym gym on premises for the most demanding guests who want to keep fit!

Once you have finished the kitesurfing course you will be able to kite at a basic level, but still require supervision. This service is provided by us and is called “lift”. We all start together at fixed times on special boats and thanks to the lift, you can practice kite safely and with the tranquility of being followed in case of need.

Kitesurfing is economically viable. Of course at the start, the added costs of the course and equipment combined make it inevitable that there is a bigger expense. Once one becomes autonomous, the costs are almost completely zero.

By buying used kitesurfing equipment, the costs become relatively low. Instead, in the case of new equipment, the costs are around € 2,000-2,200 for a kite complete with board and accessories. We always recommend the purchase of first class material for quality, for a lower loss of value and ease of future resale, even if the choice to buy new or used kitesurfing equipment remains a function of one’s spending budget
